Cost management is an essential skill in accounting and financial management. The cost management covers many accounting concepts such as financial operations, arranging and carrying costs. This course is based on cost accounting activities that support critical decision making, such as whether an organization should continue to produce, discontinue its production, manufacture, purchase, replacement or maintenance of that product. This course also covers the internal costing of services, cost estimates and conversion pricing, ending with the principles of performance appraisal, which briefly address the balanced performance card and manage resource scarcity.
