Description

This course covers the theoretical aspect of common electrical equipment and components and provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and troubleshooting. The participants in this course will be able to understand electrical systems and detect their faults. They also cover the concepts of DC currents, AC currents, transformer types, uses and their interaction in the circuit, as well as the knowledge needed to work on the repair of motor control circuits. The course also focuses on electrical hazards and international safety requirements, including OSHA standards, best practices and steps to prevent electrical injury.

What Will I Learn?

  • Application of tools and techniques for electrical maintenance, detection and repair of electrical appliances
  • Explain current patterns in electrical systems
  • Description of the mechanism of action of the inductors and capacitors and interaction with the electrical circuits
  • Explain the theory of the generator and how it produces the sinusoidal wave
  • Explain the difference between the effect and the transformer and explain the cooling methods used in the transformers
  • Reduce risk by identifying associated electrical power and complying with safety guidelines
  • Description and application requirements EN 500110, the most widely used standard to protect individuals from the effects of electrical hazards
