Description

The
guided drilling course is designed to provide the participants with a solid
foundation in the principles and practices of directional drilling,
calculations and planning for directional drilling of wells, as well as
learning the most important practices for drilling these wells without harming
the surrounding environment at the lowest cost. This course provides an
introduction to the participants in guided drilling, Drilling of well wells,
planning of well-directional drilling, terminology and surveying tools,
measurements and recording during drilling, guided drilling applications, well
drilling methods, different types of bottom drill aggregates, Drilling
equipment, down-drilling equipment, drilling engines and rotary routing systems
(RSS) used for drilling and diverting directed borehole drilling, and BHA drill
types. In addition, specific problems associated with directional drilling are
included, such as
:

What Will I Learn?

  • Understand the principles and practices of directional drilling, calculations and planning for directional drilling.
  • Learn the most important practices for drilling wells without harming the surrounding environment at the lowest cost.
  • Identify the conditions in which guided wells are drilled and how well the wellhead is planned.
  • Learning of surveying terminology and tools, measurements and recording during drilling, and guided drilling applications.
  • Study of well drilling methods, different types of bottom drill aggregates, and practical procedures to control the drilling of wells.
  • The study of drilling engines and rotary routing systems (RSS) as well as the types of drill bits of lower well (BHA).
